There are dream moments that people experience where they clearly know that somehow they have experienced a reality beyond this world, what I will call here the Transpersonal or Greater Reality. Often the immensity of the experience leaves us with a true sense of awe and what in Spiritual Psychology we call an encounter with the numinous; an encounter with divinity or the supernatural. These moments for many are never to be forgotten and they change us, for in those moments we are given the prized gift of knowing that there is a greater reality beyond this world and that our lives here hold important purpose.

We call these dream moments encounters with The Light, not only because these dreams often take place in a profound visual light, but there is often a profound feeling too when we encounter this world that the whole experienced is imbued with a transpersonal light. Dream encounters with The Light can take place in what we can call a normal dream space, but often they occur when the dreamer is experiencing an Extraordinary Dream State. My role as guide is to work with the person to help them discover why they have been privileged to experience such dreams. For in discovering the reasons why, life changes in a profound way with new meaning and purpose.
